Change MedEd 2023 was amazing! I loved connecting with educators all over America. They are present in nearly every field. On one occasion, an unknown woman sat next to me, and as we started talking, I discovered that she was a Vascular Surgery resident at a program that I had applied to in ERAS!

I enjoyed presenting my work and talking to people about how Temple manages their SP Program and the effects it has on ethnic minority students. Many physicians and educators from all types of places, including Johns Hopkins and Harvard, stopped by to share how their SP Program works. They encouraged me to keep researching and shared ideas for interventions.

Lastly, the keynote speaker, Angela Oguntala, was amazing! She shared a lot about how to discover “what is breaking” in an organization and how to address it. I was super inspired. Enjoy this pic of us!
